Asbestos is a set of 6 naturally occurring silicate minerals. Wide spread use of asbestos began in 19th century. Since then, asbestos can be found in hundreds of products and building materials e.g. roofing materials, floor tiles, shingles, pipe insulation, caulking, ceiling, flashing etc. To see a full list of our asbestos testing and consulting services, please click here.

Moisture control is the key to mold control. Molds need both food and water to survive; since molds can digest most things, water is the factor that limits mold growth. Failsafe Training Co., a division of JLC, has been providing environmental health and safety training since 2000.   Failsafe has taught courses in South Korea for the Army Corp of Engineers as well as various locations throughout the United States. 

Lead can be found in all parts of our environment – the air, the soil, the water, and even inside our homes. An Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) is a report prepared for a real estate holding which identifies potential or existing environmental contamination liabilities. The analysis typically addresses both the underlying land as well as physical improvements to the property. Contaminated sites are often referred to as "brownfield sites".
