
Jennifer Carey
President
Jennifer Carey is the founder of JLC. Her role in the firm has changed over the years as the company has grown, but her passion to find sustainable solutions to environment challenges has been a driving force in her career. In her role as CEO, she supports the company's leadership team, strengthens our corporate culture, grows our client relationships and looks for opportunities to expand our services through awareness of our customers needs.
She has worked on a wide variety of real estate and construction projects including commercial office buildings, hotels, entertainment facilities, multi-family housing properties and many others types of properties.
In 2001, Jennifer led the JLC acquisition of Failsafe Risk Management Alternatives, renaming the environmental health and safety training firm Failsafe Training Company. Failsafe has provided EHS training courses to thousands of real estate professionals nationally and internationally. Ms. Carey currently serves as the Director of Training.
Jennifer is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network and currently serves as the chair of CREW Network Foundation. She is a past president of the CREW New York chapter. She serves on the board of the Women Builders Council (WBC) and is active in the Long Island Real Estate Group and the New York Building Congress. She was named a Women of Influence by Real Estate Forum in 2016.
